Winds of Change

This painting combines the study of human anatomy with an exploration of resilience in the face of profound physical and personal upheaval. During the final years of my studies at OCAD University, I was navigating a difficult-to-treat illness while enduring the severe side effects of treatment, raising a young family, and maintaining my responsibilities as a full-time student. The work reflects this period of immense physical and emotional strain, exploring the body's vulnerability and its capacity to endure profound change.
